Mobotix IP video cameras and security technology have been used in stadiums throughout Europe, including the Betzenberg, Paris, and Donetsk soccer stadiums. Mobotix technology will be used in the security for the World Cup 2022 stadium in Qatar.

This 2014 case study from Mobotix describes the security camera setup used in the Druzhba Arena in Doneezk, Ukraine. The system was installed as part of a 2011 arena renovation and included 74 cameras in the original setup and uses a variety of different camera models, each with different surveillance capabilities. Cameras were installed in the entrance areas, the grandstands, and in the parking area.
